Nico Dockx
The invitation addressed to Belgian artist Nico Dockx
invited two years ago to take part to the exhibition
program Coming Soon MAMbo + Museum Shows
as member of the collective Building Transmissions
to participate to the residency program lauched by Nosadella.due
has given rise to an unprecedented convergence, however
temporary and occasional, between entities as different
as MAMbo, Nosadella.due and neon>campobase, historic
Bolognese platform for artistic experimentation. MAMbo
has made itself the catalyst for a confrontation between
different aspects of the citys art scene. neon>campobase
and Nosadella.due have shown at the same time two different
exhibitions based on the ongoing project through
time & today and, in collaboration with MAMbo,
they produced the new artist book Stickiness
edited by Nico Dockx and Helena Sidiropoulos.

The permanent installation by Christian Boltanski at
the Museo per la Memoria di Ustica in Bologna surrounds
the remains of the DC9 shot down on 27 June 1980 while
flying to Palermo. A year after its return to Bologna,
the wreckage of the passenger plane is on show in the
atmospheric and evocative frame created specially by
the French artist for the city and the 81 victims of
the tragedy.
