Guided and animated visits

The specialised staff of the Educational Department is available to guide the visitors and give them the reading keys necessary to understand the poetics and the languages of the contemporary art thanks to visits, which are organised all around the year. The visits can be carried out in all the seats of the Institution Galleria d'Arte Moderna di Bologna:

MAMbo for family

The Educational Department proposes to families different activities according to the age of people. Meetings in the exhibition halls of the permanent collection or of the temporary exhibitions can turn into aesthetic experiences and moments of creativity thanks to the workshops proposed.

• A series of appointments is dedicated to MAMbo children library, a library full of art books for children and young people The activities, the readings and the workshops will help to discover through the pages of the books the colours, the space, the sign, the portrait, the artists’ lives and their dreams…
• Once a month the meeting turns into a suggestive workshop with Saturday at MAMbo children library , where the illustrated stories give suggestions for personal and creative elaborations.
• The Sunday at MAMbo and the Sunday at Museo Morandi are actually educational paths starting from a visit with the direct contact with art works of the permanent collection or of the ongoing temporary exhibitions to continue then in the workshop, where art becomes experience.
• To celebrate one’s own birthday in a creative and funny way the Educational Department proposes A perfect birthday with paths and workshops conceived for every age, able to allow children and young people to live a magical afternoon thanks to the games, the imagination and the art.

Activities upon request

It’s possible to organise upon request animated visits, series of preparatory meetings, educational workshops, different workshops or other activities linked to communication and to education to contemporary art for groups by taking into account the specific interests and the different needs.

Fares

• € 100,00 guided visit in English for groups of max. 25 people
• € 170,00 double guided visit in English for groups of max. 25 people
• € 4,00 special guided visits, only Italian language - single ticket
• € 5,00 Saturday or Sunday at MAMbo, Sunday at Museo Morandi, only Italian language– single ticket
• € 50,00 for every educational operator for the Birthday at MAMbo, only Italian language (1 operator every 10 children)
• € 5,00 for every participant at the Birthday at MAMbo, only Italian language (min. 10 children)
